The name comes from the concept of Zirah Gemilang. Zirah in its literal meaning is ‘armour’. This we take to represent protection and creating a safer environment. As a development, it is a sanctuary within which its residents can feel safe, comfortable have peace of mind to live their lifestyle - with a desire to live life big and to the fullest. A lifestyle that is glorious and expresses their hunger for feeling more alive. This lifestyle is represented by the word ‘gemilang’ or ‘glorious. ZIG is also inspired by the ‘footprint’ of the development. Designed to maximise the available views of the adjacent Kepong Metropolitan Park, its lake and the nearby mountain range, the footprint forms a stylised letter ‘Z’. This gave birth to the idea of naming the development from the letter ‘Z’, to which we eventually landing on the word ‘Zirah’ - as explained above. The name ZIG is made up of the first two letters of the first word ‘Zirah’ and the first letter of the word ‘Gemilang’. Combined, it becomes ZIG - encapsulating the concept of ‘a glorious sanctuary from which I have the peace of mind and freedom to express myself and live a big life.
